A Bangsamoro Governance Pre- Summit held at MSU Gymnasium, Tawi- Tawi was successfully concluded last July 18, 2021. The said pre- summit attended by packed of Officials from the Bangsamoro Region in Muslim Mindanao who joined by the Provincial Officials.During the event, Uz. ABDULGANI ALAWI, the Mufti of Tawi- Tawi rendered an opening invocation. Soon after, Hon. YSMAEL I. SALI, the Provincial Governor represented by the Vice Governor warmed welcomed the executive guests and participants. The Chief Minister Hon. AHOD B. EBRAHIM triumphantly gave his pre-recorded keynotes, to enhance and inspire everyone.
The program started properly by the presentation of the state of Local Governance Functionality and Performance. Dr. BASHARY A. LATIPH, the good Minister of Health then presented the FY 2022 Proposed Regular Programs together with MAFAR Minister Dr. MOHAMMAD S. YACOB and other Provincial Head of Ministries. While Dr. SANGKULA LADJA- PHO İPHO Tawi- Tawi, presented the Covid- 19 status and vaccination accomplishment in the Island province. The good Minister of Health Dr. BASHARY A. LATIPH attended the Signing of Memorandum of Agreement for the Bangsamoro Medical Scholarship Program, Monday, July 12, 2021 at University of Southern Mindanao, Kabacan, North Cotabato.The agreement included that Ministry of Health-BARMM initiated the Bangsamoro Medical Scholarship Program as a means to mitigate, if not avert, the foreseen problems in the arena of healthcare delivery. The Bangsamoro Medical Scholarship program seeks to provide scholarship to eligible and qualified student.
The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement was officiated by Dr. Liza Mariposque, acting Dean, College of Med and Medical Director of USM hospital, Dr. Consuelo Tagaro, Vice President of Academic Affairs, Prof. Marcus Monderin, Dean of College of Arts and Social Sciences, Dr. Jonal Pimentel, Dean College of Science and Mathematics along with the MOH- Minister of Health.
