Municipality of Pangutaran local executive Mayor Asri S. Taib shows support for the MOH-BARMM program.
Mayor Taib's representative encouraged parents and said “Hinikayat ko po ang mga magulang na dalhin ang kanilang mga anak sa assigned centers para mabakunahan po sila at maging ligtas sa measles [at] rubella.”
The Mayor's representative also raised concerns about the augmentation of health workers and expressed gratitude that the MOH had personally visited Pangutaran.
Furthermore, Emelyn Q. Bahjin-Jalani, MD, MHA gave a presentation during the ocular visit of the MOH-BARMM at Pangutaran District Hospital and Pangutaran Rural Health Unit.
Minister Piang likewise pledged greater effort to deliver a quality health care system in the region "Dream Together, Achieve together there is no impossible".
Alongside the visitation was the oath-taking of the newly hired 6 regular employees, 8 HRH DOH, 7 NDP, 1 Medtech, 4 RHMPP, 7 HRH BARMM, 3 Nurses, 1 Pharmacist, 1 AA II, 1 SPAHA and 1 Midwife.

The MOH hopes to inoculate children 0 to 5 years old against vaccine-preventable diseases across the region.
In a statement, Piang encouraged parents to have their children immunized against these diseases. In addition Vitamin A drops were given to children assisted by Celia Sagaral, MOH Nutrition Division Chief.
Following the launch of "Chikiting Ligtas" was a courtesy call to Bensayeed M. Muksan, Mayor of Siasi.
For his part, Siasi Mayor Muksan thanked the MOH-BARMM for bringing the campaign to the town’s doorstep as he vowed to support the Chikiting Ligtas vaccination drive.
The mayor added their issues and concerns such as the need to add more health facilities in the municipality, upgrade the 25-bed capacity, which caters not only within the vicinity but also neighboring municipalities of Siasi.

MP Ismael shared that giving incentives not just to the barangay health workers but also to those patients who are having difficulties is close to his heart because he witnessed the hardship of his wife is also in the medical field.
Dr. Zul Qarneyn Abas, Deputy Minister of the Ministry Of Health, in behalf of Minister Dr. Rizaldy Piang, thank MP Rasul E. Ismael for the initiative of giving out this incentives to the barangay health workers of Cotabato City.
“Malaking tulong po talaga ito. Ito po yong kanyang commitment. Ibig sabihin mahal po niya talaga kayo.” Abas said.
City Mayor Bruce Matabalao also thanked the Ministry of Health for not forgetting about the health workers and health practitioners considering they are the frontliners.
“Maraming salamat at meron tayong MOH na tinitignan ang kapakanan ng lahat ng mga barangay health workers at ng mga health practitioners.” Matabalao added.
One of the barangay health workers shared her field stories and how grateful she is for this reward that they received.
During the activity, Saida Diocolano-Ali, Public Information Officer announced that MOH-BARMM will launch the “Chikiting Ligtas” on May 2, 2023, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM at CityMall Cotabato, Gov. Gutierrez Ave, Cotabato City. The said activity is a strategy to curb the spread of measles through the administration of free vaccination among infants and children 0-59 months for Oral Polio Vaccine and 9-59 months for Measles Rebulla.
Also present during the event were Dr. Tato M. Usman MPAIM, Atty. Jehan Jein Gulo RN, and Ms. Anisa Matuan, MPA, Chief of Planning Division.

"This is the sign that our government is responsive to the needs of our community," Piang said, after he and BARMM legislators signed the memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the distribution of the ambulances.
�Piang placed a strong emphasis that ambulances should be used on its purpose, to enhance the emergency medical response system in BARMM.��“It is then a necessity that we take action and relieve our people from health problems,” he said.
Meanwhile, Anisa Matuan, Chief of Planning Division presented on the procedure for requesting various medical services from the Ministry.
“These 17 ambulances are part of the 34 new units of ambulances that MOH-BARMM distributed to different provinces in BARMM. We were able to turn over 17 units from the first batch last March 3, and 17 more for the second batch.” said Matuan.
The provinces, city, municipalities and the number of ambulance units they received were: Basilan-five; Maguindanao-eight;Lanao del Sur-one; Cotabato City-one; Mother Kabuntalan-one; and Kabacan North Cotabato-one.
