In his speech during the signing ceremony, OIC Minister Dr. Zul Qarneyn Abas said the assistance was funded through the Transition Development Impact Fund (TDIF) and is intended to promote great accessibility to health services and help the Bangsamoro people to avail needed medicines and medical procedures in hospitals.
The recipient of the tulong medical assistance were Amaypakpak Medical Center, Cotabato City Regional and Medical Hospital (CRMC), Zamboanga City Medical Center, Basilan General Hospital, Sulu Sanitarium Hospital, Cotabato Sanitarium Hospital, Deseret Surgimed Hospital, Dr. Serapio Montaner Jr. Al Hadj Memorial Hospital, Maguindnao Provincial Hospital, Iranun District Hospital (IDH), and Tamparan District Hospital.
โI assure our dear partners from our various end-use hospitals and health care facilities that the Bangsamoro Governement will stand by your side in our quest towards a sustainable development in our health care system in the region,โ Abas said.
Dr. Amirel Usman, MOH Director General said the projects are proof of the commitment and support to address issues in the health sector and promote equal access to high-quality health care service in the region.

According to Macasalong, the Outreach Program primarily aims to deliver health services to the Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDAs) of Lanao del Sur.
The free medical services offered include medical, consultations, pediatric checkups, and the distribution of vitamins and medicines were also included.
โWe would like to extend our gratitude to our partner stakeholders for collaborating with us for this Medical Outreach Program that benefitted our contituents. Malaking bagay po itong serbisyo na naihatid natin sa mga kababayan natin dahil hindi na sila lalayo sa pagkuha ng serbisyo medikal,โ said Macasalong.
Furthermore, Fatima Diamad, a resident of Brgy Picong, expressed her sincerest gratitude for the medical services and hygiene kits that they received.
โKahit malayo ang aming barangay, kami ay nagpapasalamat sa aming mga bisita mula sa Bangsamoro Government kasi napupuntahan na kami ng mga doctor upang mapangalagaan namin ang aming kalusugan. Maraming salamat po sa inyo lahat,โ said Diamad.

The program aims to alleviate the health situation, and provide quality healthcare programs and services to the remote communities in Sulu province.
The medical outreach includes the provision of 20 wheelchair, 285 hygiene kits, 200 dental kits and family planning services.
โWe emphasize the importance of health,โ said Udjah during the activity on June 17 to 18, 2022.
โWe were pleased to see everyone come here and work together in our mission to bring services to the Bangsamoro people. We hope to see them here again,โ said Udjah.
โThis medical program is an example of our strong commitment to the Bangsamoro people, We have the MOH, IPHO, and RHUs working side-by-side to support the people, and I hope we can continue this effort together.โ Said Udjah.

The Ministry of Heath of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao has reached a target of 34.54% vaccination rate as of June 23, 2022.
As the region marks this milestones of the vaccination program, the Ministry of Health likes to sincerely thank the Bangsamoro people who have believed and trusted in COVID-19 vaccines. We would also like to extend our gratitude to the national government, local government units and development partners who took part in making all these possible.
The MOH-BARMM truly appreciates the magnanimous efforts of the Integrated Provincial Health Office of Maguindanao, Lanao del Sur, Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi as well as the City Health Office of Marawi and Lamitan for the work they have put in to make the vaccination program all the more successful.
All of these further prove that vaccines and booster shots are still the best long-term solution in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
