The activity was conducted to ensure that more Bangsamoro Health Warriors are fully equipped with knowledge and skills in the implementation of Expanded Newborn Screening.
According to the report, the activity also aims to provide quality health services by ensuring that all Filipino newborns are screened and properly managed for common and rare congenital disorders to reduce preventable deaths of newborns.
"This is to make them more effective, expand their knowledge, and develop their skills in Expanded Newborn Screening,"
The newly trained ENBS Nurses and Midwives will further bolster the rate of reaching the national target of 95% of screened babies in the coming future and attain excellence in care.
The training and development were successfully accomplished through the leadership of Minister Rizaldy L. Piang, MD, and the approval of Director of Public Health Bureau Dr. Ahmad-Fawadz A. Israel and head of Family Health Cluster Dr. Analyn G. Dimapanat and her team Regional Assistant Newborn Screening Coordinator Halmira P. Nul, RN, Regional Newborn Hearing Coordinator Ms. Amerah A. Matuan, RN. .
Each coordinator proficiently performed the practical work experience skillfully as part of training completion.

In line with the Ministry of Health's vision of "All for Health Towards Health for All", the BARMM government organizes several medical outreach programs in different far-flung areas in the region every year, which aim to provide comprehensive medical services to the underprivileged residents of the selected localities.
This year, bangsamoro health workers, which is composed of doctors, nurses, and other allied field workers together with staff from different Parliament Members, has chosen to reach out to Bangsamoro patients all over the region. The team provided medical interventions on proper hygiene, top causes of morbidities such as hypertension and diabetes mellitus as well as smoking and eye-related diseases, and other health issues.
The medical outreach program is also partnered with Integrated Provincial Health Office and Rural Health Unit. The parliament members have allotted P1 million annually to be used for providing "Serbisyong Pangkalusugan".
BARMM Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Ahod Balawag Ebrahim through BTA and MOH-BARMM continues to deliver optimum healthcare services.

During the event, residents enjoyed the free assistive devices, among which were wheelchairs (20), canes (5), provision of hearing (5), and eye consultation (95)
She stated that receiving services from Bangsamoro Government only depicts that her barangay is one of the priorities of their transformation roadmap.
She stressed that the services given significantly eased the medical needs of the constituents in the area.
“Maraming salamat. Dati, walang pumupunta dito na programang ganito. Malaking tulong ito kasi nababawasan ang mga gastos ng aming parents at ibang mga tao,” said Domado.
Parliament Member Muslimin Jakilan outreach was also conducted in Tipo-Tipo, Ungkaya Pukan, Al Barka, Tuburan, Muhammad Ajul, Akbar, Sumisip, Tabuanlasa, Lantawan, Hji Muhtamad, Maluso, and Lamitan City.
The activity provided residents with 402, 850 worth of medicines and 36 wheelchairs for adults and pedia.
Resident Jamalodin Punut commended the undertaking done by the BARMM Government. He stated that this has indeed delivered vital aid to the people.
Furthermore, around 356 beneficiaries received hygiene kits from Parliament Member Faiz Alauddin.
