Tawi-Tawi, Philippines – The Ministry of Health (MOH) recently convened the Annual Zonal Meeting for the Newborn Screening Program which held at the Bihing Tahik Beach Resort on November 18-21, 2024.
The meeting focused on addressing critical issues, sharing best practices, and strengthening the implementation of newborn screening programs across the region.
Participants discussed their accomplishments, challenges, and future plans, while experts from the National Screening Center Mindanao and the Center for Human Genetics-Mindanao provided updates on the latest advancements in newborn screening.
