COTABATO CITY – BARMM Health Minister and MP Dr. Kadil “Jojo” M. Sinolinding, Jr., announced that residents of the Bangsamoro region, as well as those residing outside the region, can continuously avail of government-provided medical health services.

Dr. Sinolinding emphasized the wide array of medical assistance programs implemented by various government agencies, including PhilHealth, Malasakit, PCSO, MSSD-Bangsamoro Cares, AMBAG, TABANG, and the Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF) of Bangsamoro Parliament members, alongside the Medical Assistance to Indigent and Financially Incapacitated Patients Program (MAIFIPP).

The Ministry of Health (MOH) collaborates with 52 partner hospitals—31 public and 21 private—both within and outside BARMM to implement MAIFIPP, providing vital access to medical assistance for eligible indigent patients. Dr. Sinolinding expressed gratitude to these partner institutions for their dedication to delivering quality healthcare services.

From September 2022 to September 2024, MAIFIPP has served 119,877 patients, according to the Malasakit Program Unit (MPU)-MOH. MPU head Baby Norbaina Caludtiag encouraged patients to inquire with hospital social workers or Malasakit Centers for assistance.

Dr. Sinolinding reaffirmed the Bangsamoro government’s commitment to protecting lives under the leadership of Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim, Al Haj: “In BARMM, every life is precious.”
